ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz is traveling to Michigan on Saturday to attend the University of Michigan's upcoming game against the University of Minnesota while urging students to vote before the November election.

On Sept. 28, Walz will be in Superior Charter Township to kick off voter registration with Michigan students, organizers and leaders. He will then attend the football game at the Big House to speak with students and advocate for the Harris-Walz ticket.

His visit will come a few days before the scheduled October 1 vice presidential debate against Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance.
