Goalscorers: Mac Allister 11'

Arne Slot's side dominated possession in the early stages against the Italians but were given a scare when Dallinga fired the ball into the net in the first ten minutes, but the offside flag prevented them from receiving a red card.

90 seconds later they had the ball in the net themselves when Alexis Mac Allister bundled in a cross from Mo Salah to give them the deserved lead.

It was then their turn to have a goal ruled out when Darwin Núñez deftly finished the ball but was denied by the offside flag before Szobozslai shot narrowly wide.

But they failed to score a second goal and Bologna improved as the half progressed, with NDoye seeing a shot bounce off the post before Alisson was forced into a superb save as the Italians got into the game.

They continued to improve after the break, with Arne Slot leading to an early substitution through efforts from Orsolini and Urbanski as he looked to change the direction of the game.

Feyenoord overtakes Girona

Goalscorers: David Lopez 20', Van de Beek 73'; Herrera 23' (OG), Milambo 34', Krejci 79' (OG)

Girona beat themselves while Feyenoord benefited from two own goals in a chaotic game to beat the Spanish side 3-2.

The home side dominated the first quarter of an hour and Feyenoord struggled to get out of their own half. And their dominance was rewarded just before the midway point of the first half when David Lopez fired home the ball from close range to give Girona the lead in the Champions League for the first time in their history.

However, this joy was short-lived as Feyenoord equalized just four minutes later when a Quinten Timber header deflected off Yangel Herrera, wrong-footing Gazzaniga and giving the Dutch side an equaliser.

And after a dreadful ten minutes for the Spanish side, Viktor Tsygankov was forced off through injury just before the half-hour mark before Feyenoord pulled off a surprise turnaround when Antoni Milambo fired home from inside the box.

Things could have been worse when Feyenoord raced through the gears and Ivan Martin conceded a penalty, but goalkeeper Gazzaniga came to his teammate's aid and parried Ayase Ueda's penalty, keeping the score at 2-1 before half-time.

Girona improved after the break and had a golden opportunity to equalize when they converted a penalty themselves, but Timon Wellenreuther parried Bojan Miovski's shot from 12 yards.

But the goal was a long time coming, thanks to former Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek, who shot the ball into the goal on the left after great work from Arnaut Danjuma.

But just like in the first half, they quickly gave the ball away again with another own goal, their third of the tournament, as Ladislav Krejci turned past his own goalkeeper in another Spanish twist.

Atalanta overtakes Shakhtar Donetsk

Goalscorers: Djimsiti 20', Lookman 44', Bellanova 47'

In the other early kick-off, Atalanta beat Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 in Germany thanks to goals on either side of half-time.

After a brilliant first minute from the Ukrainian team, Atalanta began to dominate and were rewarded after 21 minutes by experienced defender Berat Djimsiti, who calmed down from a short corner and steadied himself before putting the Bergamo side in the lead.

Chance after chance came and went for the visitors to extend their lead, but just a minute before half-time they finally doubled their lead when Ademola Lookman fired a low shot past Riznyk on the left after good work from Sead Kolasinac.

Immediately after the break, Shakhtar scored their first try of the game, but were hit hard on the counterattack as Raoul Bellanova scored Atalanta's third just minutes into the second half, effectively ending the game as a contest.

Although Shakhtar were better in the second half, they never really threatened to get back into the game as the Ukrainians failed to manage a single shot on target all evening, allowing Atalanta to continue their unbeaten start to the Champions League with a comfortable three points.
