St. Louis CITY SC will face LAFC in a midweek matchup on Wednesday at BMO Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and broadcast on radio on KYKY 98.1 FM (English) and on KXOK 102.9 FM (Spanish).

The game will be the second meeting between the two clubs this season. Back in May, LAFC won 2-0 at CITYPARK thanks to a brace from Denis Bouanga. St. Louis is looking for its first win against LAFC, which leads the series with an all-time record of 2-0-1.

CITY SC enters the clash on a two-game winning streak, its first consecutive regular season victories since September 30 of last season. Cedric Teuchert continued his winning streak against Sporting KC, scoring a goal and two assists against CITY SC's cross-state rival. St. Louis finished the season undefeated against Sporting KC (1-0-2 record).

Teuchert's three goal contributions tied with Marcel Hartel (three assists against the Portland Timbers on August 24) for a team high in a single game this season. Teuchert was chosen for the matchday team due to his performance.

Midfielders Eduard Löwen and Rasmus Alm also scored goals on the night, and Akil Watts also scored his second assist of the season.

LAFC enters the game with a win, defeating FC Cincinnati 2-1 on the road following a 3-1 win over Sporting KC last Wednesday to secure the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. However, Saturday's win against FC Cincinnati was the first in the last six games of the regular season (1-3-2). LAFC is led by Denis Bouanga, who is second in the Golden Boot race with 18 goals.
