Jennifer Aniston is setting the record straight on the wildest tabloid rumors written about her

Jennifer Aniston's latest appearance Jimmy KimmelThe US talk show became an opportunity for her to refute some of the most outlandish tabloid rumors about her.

The former Friends The star stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night, where the host handed her a copy of an August issue of In Touch magazine with the headline “The Truth About Jen and Barack.”

In Touch's story suggested that former US President Barack Obama had developed a close friendship with the Emmy winner, much to his wife's apparent chagrin, Michelle.

While Jen's team denied these rumors at the time, the woman herself also addressed them during her talk show appearance.

“Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you're just like, 'Oh no, what's that supposed to be?' or the email that says, 'Some cheesy tabloid is going to make up a story'… and then that's it,” she noted. “I wasn’t mad about it!”

“That's absolutely untrue,” she insisted, pointing out that she only met Obama once and actually “knows Michelle more” than her husband.

Jimmy then took the opportunity to introduce Jen to some rumors about himself, which she could either confirm or deny.

“Oh good, we're dispelling the rumors, I love that,” she gushed.

Unfortunately, most of these turned out to be attempts.

While she was able to refute claims that she installed a “£4,000 anti-aging water filter” in her home just for her dogs and is a “black belt in ju-jitsu,” Jen had to clarify that she really enjoys salmon sperm facial , carries jars of olives with her when she travels abroad, had her artwork hanging in the Moma art gallery at age 11, and was once approached for a selfie while naked in the sauna.

When asked if she really has “a Zip-Loc bag” with “her dead therapist's ashes,” Jen replied, “Can I refer to the (fifth)?” That's a little true… I'm going to sound like that after this , like I really need a therapist.”

Then she was angered by claims that when she was a child, her family would “do her belly dancing” every Christmas Eve.

“No, just Christmas Eve!” she remarked. “(It was) like telling your child, 'Play piano for everyone' or 'Let's sing for everyone'.”

“I am very afraid when my friends do this to their children because I have an internal trauma from having to perform belly dance and dance for my Greek aunts, uncles and grandmothers. I get it!”

Jen is currently filming the fourth season of the Apple TV+ drama The Morning Showin which she stars alongside Reese Witherspoon.

However, for many of us, she is still best known for her role as Rachel on the long-running sitcom Friends, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.
