It's logical to assume that many Milwaukee Brewers fans have more than a little dislike for New York Mets outfielder Jesse Winker.

But he certainly made it worse in the second inning of Game 1 of the National League wild-card series Tuesday afternoon at American Family Field.

They hate him now.

Winker, who was injured for most of last season, played a mostly forgettable 76 games while wearing the Brewers jersey. He was booed in his two key appearances in the Brewers' losses to the Diamondbacks in the NL wild-card round last season.

He is now being booed louder and more often.

Winker's two-run triple off Brewers starter Freddy Peralta brought the Mets back into the game and tied the score at two. He then immediately decided to say a few things to his former teammate Willy Adames after reaching third base.

Winker reportedly had a sore back, but some players apparently play better when they're angry (although Winker was also 6-for-18 with two home runs against Peralta in his career).

Winker was narrowly hit in the fifth inning and his replacement, JD Martinez, hit a two-run single.

Of course, there was a lot of excitement on social media after Winker seemed to have no problem sharing unpleasantness following his huge success.
