Bronny James scores tonight: Lakers-Timberwolves NBA preseason stats LeBron James says Anthony Edwards bullied him during the Olympics

After playing their last three games on the road, the Chicago Blackhawks host the Minnesota Wild at the United Center on Friday night, still looking for their first win of the preseason in the penultimate game before the regular season.

This will be the second time this week that the Blackhawks will face the Wild after they were soundly defeated by the mild-mannered Minnesota team 7-2 on Tuesday. Jason Dickinson opened the scoring early in the first, but the Wild then scored six straight goals – including five in the second period – and ran away with the game. Connor Bedard also joined the Blackhawks shortly before the end of the second round, but it was already too late for a comeback. Potential goalkeeper Drew Commesso was in net the entire game, and while conceding seven looks bad, he also conceded 42 shots – a number of goals conceded that drew too many comparisons to last season's dismal season.

The Blackhawks' lineups at yesterday's practice are expected to be the same as they will be for Friday night's game:

As the only players to show any real offensive chemistry this preseason, it's no surprise that Bedard and Teuvo Teräväinen will start on the same line with Tyler Bertuzzi. Lukas Reichel and Andreas Athanasiou were de facto in the fifth line after failing to put in an outstanding performance in their only pre-season game so far. On defense, neither Alec Martinez nor Wyatt Kaiser played on Thursday, so it is unlikely they will play on Friday. Nolan Allan and Isaak Phillips acted as the third pair.

Interestingly, Alex Vlasic has taken over the second power play unit for Kevin Korchinski, who was sent to Rockford a few days ago. I say interesting because Vlasic isn't much of an offensive defenseman, aside from having a more than solid stretch pass.

A few injury updates: Artyom Levshunov continued to play and coach Luke Richardson announced an estimated return for goalkeeper Laurent Brossoit.

Speaking of injuries, Taylor Hall talked about how his knee feels since the surgery and how he and the team will manage to keep Hall as healthy as possible:

As for the Wild, they are 3-2 so far in the preseason, including two one-sided games: the aforementioned Blackhawks loss on Tuesday and an 8-5 win over the Winnipeg Jets (albeit mostly full of prospects) last Friday .
