Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman makes a game-time decision before showdown with Missouri

Texas A&M redshirt sophomore quarterback Conner Weigman is a game-time decision before the No. 25 Aggies' 11 a.m. match with No. 9 Missouri at Kyle Field, according to the SEC's student-athlete availability report . Weigman, who has missed the last three games with an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, was listed as questionable this week.

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Weigman's shoulder condition is improving and he should be well enough to strip down and warm up before kickoff. Thamel said the Cypress product has had significant success in practice after not playing in A&M's last two games against Bowling Green and Arkansas.

Thamel reported that redshirt freshman QB Marcel Reed remains the Aggies' expected starter, but there's a chance Weigman could play if he feels 100%.

About 45 minutes before kickoff at Kyle Field, Weigman was dressed and on the field warming up.

Weigman suffered his injury in a season-opening loss to Notre Dame, in which he threw for just 100 yards with two interceptions on a 40% pass rate. He bounced back on September 7 against McNeese State with 125 yards and two touchdowns with 39 rushing yards in the first half, but injured his shoulder in practice before the game against Florida.

Reed has taken over the starting role in Weigman's place and led the Aggies to victories over the Gators, Falcons and Razorbacks. Reed impressed with 261 total yards and three touchdowns at Florida and 264 yards and two scores against Bowling Green, but totaled 176 yards and three touchdowns against Arkansas.

Kansas transfer right guard Ar'Maj Reed-Adams is also a game-time decision for A&M as redshirt freshman RG TJ Shanahan is considered opted out.
