Ole Miss' road to the College Football Playoff. The Rebels were ranked in the top 10 for most of September before losing 20-17 to Kentucky last week. Another loss to an SEC team the Rebels were supposed to beat could hurt their chances of making the 12-team field given the plethora of other highly regarded contenders in the SEC. The Gamecocks could be one of them if they can do that.

KEY MATCHUP

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart against South Carolina's defensive front. Dart sparks the SEC's strongest offense, throwing for 363 yards per game with 13 touchdowns. South Carolina defensive tackles Kyle Kennard and Dylan Stewart combined for 11 tackles for a loss and eight of the team's 14 sacks.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ole Miss: WR Antwane “Juice” Wells returns to South Carolina after spending the last two seasons with the Gamecocks. He finished his South Carolina career with 71 catches for 956 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had 14 receptions for 278 yards and four touchdowns with the Rebels.

South Carolina: QB LaNorris Sellers gave the Gamecocks a 24-10 lead just before halftime at LSU three weeks ago before exiting with an ankle injury. Sellers missed the rest of the game with the Tigers (South Carolina lost 36-33) and missed the next matchup with Akron. Sellers is expected to be the starter.
