1 Vanderbilt has suffered a drop in turnovers this season, tied with Army, Eastern Michigan and Oregon State for the fewest turnovers in the country. The Commodores recovered all but one of their seven fumbles in 2024, and Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia failed to intercept any of his 85 passes. Alabama has eight takeaways this season, recovering three of its opponents' eight fumbles and intercepting five passes.

8 Rushing TDs by Alabama's Jalen Milroe this season, tied for most by any quarterback in the country with Army's Bryson Daily and Navy's Blake Horvath.

10 Losses without a win for Vanderbilt when the Commodores play the No. 1 team in the AP poll, including losses to Alabama in 1980 and 2017.

12 Each of Vanderbilt's consecutive seasons included a loss in the Commodores' first conference home game. Since Vanderbilt beat Ole Miss 30-7 in its first SEC home game in 2011, the Commodores have opened their home conference with three losses each to Georgia, Ole Miss and South Carolina and once each to Alabama, Kentucky and LSU.

13 Back-to-back league losses for Vanderbilt in October. The Commodores' most recent SEC win in the 10th month is a 21-14 victory over Missouri on October 19, 2019.

13 Vanderbilt didn't lose its first two SEC games years ago. In 2011, the Commodores opened their conference campaign with a 30-7 win over Ole Miss. Since then, Vanderbilt has lost at least its first two league games every season. The Commodores opened their 2024 SEC schedule on Sept. 21 with a 30-27 double-overtime loss to Missouri.

23 Consecutive wins for Alabama against Vanderbilt. The Commodores' last victory over the Crimson Tide came on September 29, 1984, when Vanderbilt won on the road 30-21. Alabama leads the series 63-18-4.

28.9 Yards per reception were averaged this season by Alabama WR Ryan Williams, the nation's top player with at least eight receptions. Williams has 16 receptions for 462 yards and five touchdowns. He has more receiving spots than any other rookie in the country.

31 Consecutive wins for Alabama over Vanderbilt when Crimson Tide is ranked in the AP Poll. The Commodores' most recent victory over a ranked Alabama team came on October 11, 1969, when Vanderbilt defeated the No. 13 Crimson Tide 14-10 in Nashville.

54 Losses without a win for Vanderbilt in games against teams ranked in the top five of the AP poll. The Commodores have lost 24 straight times to ranked teams since a 14-7 win over No. 18 Kansas State on Sept. 16, 2017, and have lost 26 straight times to opponents ranked in the top 10 since a 17-6 win over No. 6 South Carolina on October 20, 2007. The Gamecocks are the top-ranked team to beat Vanderbilt. The Commodores also upset No. 6 LSU 7-6 on October 23, 1937.

107 Wins and 16 losses for Alabama when it was ranked No. 1 in the AP poll. Saturday's game is the first for the Crimson Tide as the No. 1 team since Oct. 15, 2022, when Alabama lost to Tennessee 52-49. The Tide has been ranked at the top of the AP poll 141 times – 36 times more than any other program.

110 Responsible for Alabama's points was QB Jalen Milroe, whose average of 27.5 points per game in charge is the highest in the country this season. Milroe has 10 touchdown passes, eight touchdown runs and a 2-point conversion pass. Milroe is tied with Army's Bryson Daily and Navy's Blake Horvath for the fastest touchdowns among quarterbacks in the country.

314 Games have been played by Alabama since it was last shut down. Alabama's scoring streak is the third longest in SEC history. Alabama's last shutout loss came on November 18, 2000, 9-0 against Auburn.
