The Vegas Golden Knights host the San Jose Sharks in their final preseason game of 2024.

Last time out, the Golden Knights were on the losing side in their rematch against the Colorado Avalanche. Thanks to goals from Jonathan Drouin and Sam Malinski, the Avalanche had a 2-1 lead early in the third period. Jack Eichel brought the Golden Knights within one goal on the power play, but an empty-net goal from Logan O'Connor gave the Avalanche the win.

The Golden Knights hosted an optional skate this morning. Participants included Zach Aston-Reese, Tanner Laczynski, Jonas Røndbjerg, Ben Hutton and Kaedan Korczak, with Ilya Samsonov in net. These five players are expected to be safe and sound.

Adin Hill is expected to make his second preseason start. He will face MacKenzie Blackwood, who is the confirmed starter for the Sharks.

Macklin Celebrini will be out for the Sharks after suffering an injury against Utah HC. His status at the start of the regular season is still unknown.

Puck Drop will take place at 7:00 PM PST at T-Mobile Arena.
