Bobcats Earn Homecoming Win – Montana State University Athletics Hurricane Milton puts Florida on alert for life-threatening impacts

Conor McGregor is disappointed with Kevin Holland.

The middleweight “Trailblazer” lost via technical knockout on the UFC 307 pay-per-view (PPV) card last Saturday after suffering a rib injury. Night (October 5, 2024) at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Holland's corner threw in the towel at the end of the first frame.

McGregor argues that Holland should have tried to keep up at least in the second verse. Without knowing the extent of the injury and at the risk of causing further damage, it was probably in the fighter's best interest to forfeit the fight.

“Didn’t you even fucking try? No, that's ridiculous! “Go out there again and see what it’s like,” McGregor tweeted on X, then deleted it. “If it folds back up, finish it with the towel.” No, that's not it for me, guys. Holland is a solid veteran, he should have gone out and tried it to see how he fared. Wrong move.”

Pot, meet kettle.

McGregor was widely criticized for withdrawing from the main event of UFC 303 in June after breaking his pinky toe. The damage was so severe that he was out of action for a whopping…three weeks. Why Notorious wasn't booked again in the following months is unclear, but he “should have gone and tried it to see how he did.”

Alex Pereira, who is scheduled to headline UFC 307, replaced McGregor in the UFC 303 main event despite “Poatan” also suffering from a broken toe. “Notorious” later described himself on social media as “the greatest fighter on God's green earth” and claimed that he “runs the whole game forever.”

I think he meant “running.” out of the whole game forever,” based on his absence of more than three years (and counting).
