The New York Jets are in London to take on the Minnesota Vikings. This is the Jets' first game abroad since 2021. For many players, including tight end Tyler Conklin, it will be the first time playing in London.

“It’s my first,” Conklin said of traveling to London to face the Vikings, the team he spent four seasons with. The tight end emphasized that NFL players have mixed feelings about playing in London.

“I have no idea,” Conklin responded to his expectations Sunday. “I mean, I've heard different things about it. Some people enjoy it and like it. Some people don't like it that much. But I mean, it’s my first time, so we’ll figure it out.”

Conklin later expressed his two main concerns for Sunday's game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London: “The jet lag and the time change.”

Conklin is currently in his fourth season with the Jets and ranks fourth on the team in receptions (11) and receiving yards (126). Conklin had a career-high game in the team's Week 3 win over the division rival New England Patriots, recording a team-high five receptions, a career-high 93 yards in a single game.

Conklin and the Jets are ready to face one of the NFL's last two undefeated teams this Sunday, fueled by a determination to bounce back from a tough loss. If the Jets want to win, Conklin should be a big part of it. Minnesota has had some issues covering tight ends this year, allowing a passer rating of 106.3 on throws to the position.
