Aaron Rodgers wasn't afraid to criticize himself after his tough performance in the 23-17 loss to the Vikings, but even more concerning for the Jets is the condition of Rodgers' ankle.

Rodgers told reporters that he has a lower ankle sprain. However, it's not clear if that happened on Sunday or if it was something he was struggling with.

Rodgers limped off the field after a sack in the third quarter but quickly returned to the game without missing a play.

He has been dealing with knee problems, which led the Jets to sign third-stringer Adrian Martinez from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Although Rodgers lasted the entire game, he struggled most of the time, throwing three picks – one of which was returned for a touchdown and another that ended the game.

“That was below my standard,” Rodgers told reporters.

Rodgers finished the game 29-for-54 with 244 yards and two touchdowns.

The Jets couldn't run the ball at all, rushing for just 36 yards on 14 carries.
