The fans in the left seats at Dodger Stadium threw two baseballs in the general direction of Jurickson Profar. The Padres and the entire umpiring team have gathered in left field as the stadium's PA announcer asks fans not to throw anything onto the field.

Shortly after, fans began throwing objects at Fernando Tatis Jr., causing another delay.

After a lengthy delay, fans finally stopped throwing objects and play resumed.

Profar and the Dodgers fans sitting in left field exchanged blows at the start of Sunday's game. In the bottom of the first inning, Profar robbed a home run from Mookie Betts before staring at a group of fans and dancing away.

The game was later delayed when fans threw objects at Profar in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Padres dropped Game 1 of the series on Saturday when Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani hit a three-run home run to lift Los Angeles to a 7-5 victory. San Diego entered Sunday's game hoping to even the series, and the Padres clearly came into their own.

Before the division series began, it was clear that things were going to be heated between the two rivals, and the intensity was already evident in two games. The series will head to Game 3 on Tuesday at Petco Park, where Padres fans will look to create a difficult environment for Los Angeles.
