The Dallas Cowboys finally get their first notable win of 2024 Pacioretty signs a one-year contract with the Maple Leafs

Each week during the 2024 season, we'll take a quick post-game look at which Jacksonville Jaguars stood out the most.

Win or lose, rain or shine, we distribute game balls to an offensive, defensive and special teams player.

In this edition, we take a look at the Jaguars' best players following their 37-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5.

Attack: Tank Bigsby

The Jaguars have been confident in second-year running back Tank Bigsby for some time. And after a truly star-studded performance against the Colts (13 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns), Bigsby proved her confidence was right.

Bigsby was electrifying against the Colts, fighting his way to one touchdown and fending off multiple tackles on another. He looks to be one of the best running backs in the NFL this season.

There were other strong performances from the Jaguars' offense: Trevor Lawrence had one of the best games of his career and Brian Thomas Jr. had the first 100-yard day of his career. But Bigsby gave the Jaguars a lot of trouble this week.

“That was probably my favorite part of the game. “I just saw my brother come out because we came in together,” Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange said of Bigsy’s performance.

“Obviously we didn’t have the seasons we wanted. He does what he does and that excites me more than anything else. I'm proud of Tank and we're both going to continue to work hard to continue to get better and just keep going.”

Defense: Travon Walker

The defensive play may be easier this week than in any other game this year. Travon Walker had his first-ever three-sack game and also forced a fumble at the end of the first half to set up a Jaguars field goal, which proved invaluable in a three-point game.

Walker turned on the lights in a big way.

“Man, that was great. These are the moments when I tell Travon that if you commit to what you do day in and day out, beat the opponent in front of you and just win the duel, you are capable of winning every single game. “You're capable of making a play like this every time,” Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen said after the game about Walker's performance.

Special Teams: Cam Little

The first game-winner, which the Jaguars hope will be many more games, occurred on Sunday. The NFL's youngest kicker hit a 49-yard field goal, giving the Jaguars their first win of the season and a well-deserved game ball.
