PITTSBURGH – So what did wide receiver CeeDee Lamb say to quarterback Dak Prescott late in the first half after an interception in Sunday's game against the Steelers?

The two Cowboys teammates were seen talking on the sidelines – well, Lamb did most of the talking – and lip readers concluded that he said “jump ball, jump ball, jump ball” to Prescott.

Late in the first half, Prescott was tackled in the end zone by Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson. Prescott's pass missed Lamb's position behind Jackson.

Lamb was asked if he said “jump ball” to Prescott and he replied, “Yeah, pretty much.” The DB made a great play. We were on two different pages. I mean, he got a gift.”

Because Lamb had a height advantage (6-2 to 5-10 over Jackson), he seemed to be expecting a ball where he could outrun the defender.

Lamb finished the Cowboys' win over the Steelers with five catches for 62 yards on nine targets.

“I go through my reads, it’s as simple as that,” Prescott said of his chemistry with Lamb. “Whether it’s early in the game, later in the game, whatever it is. I go through my readings, trust my process and trust the defense that played, and it feeds into what me and CeeDee did, especially when you go into a game and start well. Whether they change the game plan or try something faster they want to attack with me and CeeDee.”
