October 7, 2:49 p.m. PDT: The release of Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will be slightly delayed. “I'm hoping for a few hours at most, but we'll see,” wrote community manager Adam Fletcher in a response to I will update this post with an ETA once we have one.

We're less than 24 hours away Diablo 4: Vessel of Hate Release times start. The action role-playing game's first expansion adds an entire region, a new class, ability-altering rune items, and mercenary companions to fight alongside you in its open world. Blizzard has spent the last year overhauling most of the game's core systems, and now it's all wrapped up in one huge update.

Vessel of Hatred's campaign will pick up where the original story left off. Neyrelle is on her way to the jungle region of Nahantu with a demon lord in her pocket. It will be your job to find them and figure out how to stop Mephisto from crawling out of his crystalline prison. And once you're done with the campaign, there will be a whole new season with its own unique event and several new types of dungeons where you can grab tons of loot.
