Road House star joins Paul Rudd and Jack Black in cult '90s reboot

Street house Star Daniela Melchior has joined the cast of Paul Rudd and Jack Black's upcoming film anaconda start anew.

Accordingly deadlineIt has been confirmed that Melchior will star alongside Rudd and Black in the upcoming film, but details about her character are being kept secret for now.

The original 1997 thriller – starring Jennifer Lopez, Jon Voight, Owen Wilson and Ice Cube – follows a National Geographic film crew who are taken hostage by a hunter who forces them to search for an anaconda.

The reboot will reportedly lean more towards comedy after a group of friends decide to remake their favorite movie from their youth – although things don't go according to plan.

Details of Rudd and Black's roles are also being kept secret, but two of the main characters are described as a part-time director and wedding filmmaker, as well as a struggling actor.

The unbearable weight of enormous talent Writers Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten are penning the screenplay, while Gormican will also direct.

Melchior most recently starred in Prime Videos Street house Reboot opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.

In the film, which is a remake of the 1989 film of the same name, Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida rest stop.

After becoming one of the streaming service's most-watched original films ever, it was announced in May that the film would be getting a sequel.
