Troy Aikman makes Taylor Swift faux pas on Monday Night Football, Joe Buck corrects

“You know they're not married?” said his broadcast partner Joe Buck.

Aikman knows he screwed this up.

“Oh, I know,” Aikman replied. I’m sure I’ll get in trouble if I say that.”

Buck said it happens and even his own daughters have warned him to be careful when it comes to jokes about Taylor Swift.

The camera on the Monday Night Football broadcast panned to reveal that Swift's suite was directly below her broadcast booth. Swift was unaware of Aikman's comments at the time.

She is attending her third Chiefs game of the season, as the 34-year-old music icon attended the first two home games of the year but missed the Chiefs' two away games. However, Swift has been able to attend all of her boyfriend's home games so far this season.

Of course, Kansas City is undefeated in those games and is 4-0 heading into Week 5's Monday Night Football matchup. With a goal of making history and winning their third straight Super Bowl, the Chiefs are on track to capture another AFC West title and advance to the championship game.

For Swift, she's also hard at work. She has some free time before traveling to multiple cities for her Eras Tour. She will be in Miami on October 18th and then visit New Orleans, Indianapolis and Canada before wrapping up the tour on December 8th in Vancouver.
