A new leg from Coldplay's ongoing Music of the Spheres The world tour will reach the North American part of the globe next summer. The group, which released an album last week that pays tribute to a different sphere, Moon musicwill play at a handful of stadiums across the United States and two dates in Toronto.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 12pm local time. Various pre-sales begin at 9 a.m. that day for people who register early. For full details, visit Ticketmaster's Coldplay hub.

The group also offers admission to its shows for $20 through so-called “Infinity Tickets.” These will go on sale on November 22nd at 12pm local time.

Coldplay kicked things off Music of the Spheres tour in 2022, following the release of their 2021 Music of the Spheres Album. They had subtitled this recording, Vol. I: From the earth with love. The new album, Moon musicbears the official title Music of the Spheres Vol. II: Moon Musicto explain the continuation of the tour title. (There are many spheres in the universe, so they may continue like this for a while.)

However, a better moniker for the tour might have been “Music for This Sphere”: the band reports that the way they toured left less of a carbon footprint than previous tours. Comparing show by show, they report that this walk produced 59 percent fewer CO2e emissions than their 2016 and 2017 run. They also take responsibility for planting more than 9 million trees around the world. They describe their sustainability efforts on their website. (Physical copies of the Moon music Albums are also made from recycled plastic bottles.)

Frontman Chris Martin recently told us Rolling Stone the one after that Moon music “All My Love” – on which the group performed SNL— The band does not intend to release any further singles. “I’m so grateful for this song,” he said. “I don't know if and when it will appeal to who or not, but for me it's a really important song. It's like you have all my love after everything we've been through. That's it. This is how we feel about life and the world, our fans, our critics and everyone else.”
