NBA G League Player RJ Hampton Faces Backlash After Heated Argument With Child's Mother Shared Online (Video)

G League Basketball player RJ Hampton is facing backlash after a video surfaced showing a tense argument between him and his ex-girlfriend, an influencer Tiffany Jeffcoat. The clip, which Jeffcoat shared on her TikTok account, also includes allegations of verbal and physical abuse against Hampton, who was a first-round NBA draft pick in 2020.

In the video, which was filmed at a hotel, the former couple can be seen arguing while their young son Halo is nearby. Hampton can be heard telling Jeffcoat, “Shut up and talk to me, son of a bitch.” I don’t care if you have me on the recording.”

Jeffcoat claims in the video that Hampton had previously physically abused her, stating, “I have pictures of it.” Hampton responds to the allegations by saying, “Who the fuck cares…those are bruises.”

The exchange escalates even further when Hampton tells Jeffcoat, “I don't care if your mother is dead or alive, keep your mouth shut.”

In another clip, Jeffcoat tearfully claims that Hampton took her son without telling her where he was going, leaving her stranded in Oklahoma. She contacted police for help after Hampton allegedly left without important items for her child, such as a pacifier or blankets. In a third video, she shared that she waited in a hotel lobby for hours and Hampton still hadn't returned with her son. She also expressed concern about whether Halo had eaten dinner.

However, on Tuesday, Jeffcoat shared an IG story about baby Halo sleeping under her watch again. She also thanked everyone who reached out to her.

The TikToks sparked concern on social media, with many users criticizing Hampton's behavior. The former NBA prospect, who now plays for the Delaware Blue Coats, the G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, has not yet publicly commented on the allegations.
