The blockbuster summer hit from Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Bad Boys: Ride or Die launches this week on Netflix.

The fourth part of the Bad boys film series, Bad Boys: Ride or Die opened in theaters on June 7th before making its digital streaming premiere via premium video-on-demand on July 23rd.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die will make its streaming video-on-demand debut on Netflix on Tuesday. To watch the film you must be a Netflix subscriber Bad Boys: Ride or Die on SVOD on the streaming platform.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die begins not long after the events of Bad boys for lifein which Miami police officers Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) suffered the tragic loss of their mentor, Police Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantaliano). In Bad Boys: Ride or DieConrad is posthumously accused of being a corrupt officer, so Mike and Marcus are determined to clear his name.

However, to uncover the truth, the duo needs the help of Armando Aretas (Jacob Scipio), Conrad's assassin, whose son Mike never knew he had. That won't be easy either, because the assassins want Armando dead as soon as he gets out of prison.

Smith Praises 'Powerful' Concepts in 'Bad Boys: Ride Or Die'

In addition to all the action in the film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die finds that Mike and Marcus struggle with some difficult circumstances as they age, including loss, mental well-being and anxiety.

“It’s a popcorn movie. It's fun, it's exciting. You laugh, you cheer, but deep down you laugh, but there are some powerful concepts in there,” Smith said Mood in an interview before the film's theatrical release. “What Mike struggles with and how he comes out of it… I just love being able to address those concepts and ideas. (Like) mental health and then combining it with spirituality, all in a way that's fun so it doesn't go over the top… I love being able to do that in a summer blockbuster.”

Bad Boys: Ride or Die The June 7 opening of cinemas marked the start of a sluggish summer film season. According to the film's distributor, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Bad Boys: Ride or Die grossed $193.6 million domestically and $210.5 million internationally, for a worldwide box office total of $404.1 million.

Per The numbers, Bad Boys: Ride or Die had a production budget of $100 million before printing and advertising.

Rotten tomatoes Critics gave the film a 65% “fresh” rating based on 250 reviews, while the site's audience score was 97% “fresh” based on over 5,000 verified user reviews.

Rated R, Bad Boys: Ride or Die makes its SVOD premiere on Netflix on Tuesday.
