India vs Bangladesh LIVE Score 2nd T20I: Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh led the way as a belligerent Inda posted a batting total of 221/9 in his second T20I against Bangladesh in New Delhi. Reddy and Rinku's 108 runs off just 49 balls helped India recover from a shaky start and take control of the second T20I against Bangladesh in New Delhi. Reddy hit 74 off 34 balls while Rinku managed 53 off 29 balls. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto earlier won the toss and chose to bowl first.

To describe the first match between India and Bangladesh in Gwalior as a one-sided contest would be a bit of an understatement. Bangladesh were so outplayed that at no point in the game did they look like they were in a position to challenge India. The visitors were so far behind that former fast bowler RP Singh said it might not be advisable whether Hardik Pandya was in good form or not based on his performance against these opponents.

Like the T20I series played since the 2024 T20 World Cup, this Indian team is missing most of its regular stars as it is in the middle of the team's Test season. This meant that the team management fielded a number of young players in the first T20I, including debutants Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mayank Yadav, and all of them contributed in some way. A few young players remained on the bench but it is unlikely that the team will be changed in any way for this game.

This means fans in Delhi will get a glimpse of the Express Mayank, who lived up to the hype and started his international career as a virgin. Mayank had figures of 1/21 in his four overs. The only reason for his absence would be if he is not deemed fit enough for that game.

Another aspect that is in focus is the opening partnership of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma. The latter managed to score 16 runs in seven balls but the opening stand was disrupted when Abishek was run out in the second over due to a terrible mix-up. Samson scored 29 in 19 balls before falling in the eighth over. With Rohit Sharma retiring from the format, India will be looking to expand their options at the top of the T20Is and will be keeping a close eye on the performance of these two. Furthermore, any of these batsmen could also be considered as replacements at third as Virat Kohli is also retiring.
