Release date, time, cast, place to watch

The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning show premieres this week on ABC and there's a lot to look forward to, including a crossover episode with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a Halloween episode and a Christmas special, Quinta Brunson is also a showrunner, said US Weekly.

“I think it’s very cool,” Brunson told US Weekly about the crossover episode. “I think it's unexpected and I think it will be a real delight for the audience of both shows. You know, I think it's going to be very exciting for people who see our shows. I just love it and I think it's just a fun way to shake up television.

“Abbott Elementary” follows a “group of dedicated, passionate teachers and a slightly tone-deaf principal” who are “determined to help their students” at a Philadelphia public school “succeed in life” despite all the odds against them they stand, as the narrator of the series synopsis says.

“Despite being outnumbered and underfunded, these incredible educators love what they do – even if they don’t like the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children,” it continued.
