Mark Briscoe gave a serious interview where he promised to hurt Chris Jericho.

Next, Daniel Garcia made his way to the ring to discuss his future. He announced that he was staying with AEW and promised to take himself to a new level.

Due to illness, Baker was unable to complete her scheduled match, so it became a Fatal 4-Way with Willow, Saraya, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter.

All four seemed a little unsure of what to do at times, likely due to a lack of preparation time. The more people you add to an impromptu competition, the more the flow will suffer.

The longer it went on the better it got, but it was impossible not to notice how awkward some moments in the first half were.

After Hayter chased Penelope Ford away, it came down to Saraya and Willow.

After surviving Saraya's finisher, Willow scored the victory, earning herself a shot at the title against Mariah May.

Notable moments and observations

  • AEW was still promoting Baker long after it would have been clear she wouldn't be there.
  • It was a cool moment when Rose countered a powerbomb with a hurricanrana.
  • Since there were no DQs, Cameron got quite involved.
  • It was great to see Hayter suplex Rose and Willow at the same time.
  • Nyla fell heavily onto the apron. Let's hope she's okay.
