Meghan's appearance at the gala comes as her husband, Prince Harry, returns to the United States after a series of solo engagements in New York City, London and southern Africa.

For the glittering event, Meghan reached into her wardrobe archives and recycled a striking scarlet dress by Carolina Herrera.

The dress was first worn by the Duchess at the Salute To Freedom Gala in New York in 2021.

This time, Meghan opted for a fresh take on the look by removing the flowing overskirt.

The Duchess has a long-standing relationship with the hospital, having visited the hospital on numerous occasions to meet patients and take part in the annual Make March Matter campaign.

In a statement, Meghan's team highlighted the success of the event and highlighted “the power of community support in improving the lives of those in need.”

The Duchess thanked CHLA and everyone involved for their commitment and generosity.
