Voters in Las Vegas can now cast their ballots at Allegiant Stadium

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas voters can now cast their ballot at Allegiant Stadium for the first time in its history.

The Nevada Secretary of State and the Clark County Elections Department announced Friday that the stadium would become a polling location on Election Day to increase voter turnout.

“This fall, the country will look to Nevada to decide who the next president is, and we need voters to get involved,” said Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. “We are thrilled to partner with Clark County and the Las Vegas Raiders to open the doors to Allegiant Stadium and offer Nevadans a unique voting experience this fall.” Participating in the electoral process is more important than ever, and now everyone can Clark County voters go to an iconic location on Election Day and just vote, baby!”

“The great state of Nevada makes registering and voting easy and accessible. “The Raiders and Allegiant Stadium are proud to do our part to promote high voter turnout by providing Clark County voters a central location to cast their ballot on Election Day,” said Raiders owner Mark Davis.

On November 5th, voters who voted on Allegiant will receive an exclusive “I VOTED” sticker.

“One of the goals of the Clark County Elections Department is to ensure that every eligible voter has access to the polls, and what better way to accomplish that than by opening our largest site at Allegiant Stadium,” said Clark County Voter Registrar Lorena Portillo . “It is important to remember that voters can cast their vote or drop off a mail-in ballot at any voting center. So we hope people from all corners of Clark County take advantage of this incredible space.”

The NFL and Las Vegas Raiders have launched a website “Voting in Las Vegas” with additional information about voting at Allegiant Stadium and resources for voters and eligible residents.

Important dates for the 2024 parliamentary election

• Early voting runs from October 19th to November 1st
• election day is on November 5th
• Same Day Voter Registration: Voters can register to vote online and update their voter registration at any time VOTE.NV.gov or in person during early voting or at a polling place on Election Day.
  • October 22nd is the last day to update your registration or register to vote and receive a ballot in the mail
• Postal ballot: All active registered voters will receive a mail-in ballot unless they have opted out. Absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, November 5th, and received by the county elections official no later than November 9th to be counted
