Mumbai, September 30 (IANS): Actor-producer Tusshar Kapoor, who was recently seen in the streaming crime series Dus June Kii Raat, has revealed that his Facebook accounts have been hacked.

On Monday, the actor posted a statement on Instagram about the hacking of two of his Facebook accounts.

He wrote a long note discussing what to do next. He wrote: “Hello everyone, I would like to inform you that both my public and private Facebook accounts have been compromised, resulting in my recent inactivity on the platform.” My team and I are doing our best to address the situation to resolve and regain control of the accounts.”

He further mentioned, “We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time and look forward to connecting with you all again soon. Thank you for your continued support.”

Fans took to the comments section of his Instagram account hoping for a solution to the issue.

One fan wrote: “I hope the problem will be solved soon (sic)”.

Another wrote: “The cyber cell is adept at solving such problems. Stay tuned.”

With the advent of 5G, the problems of account hacking and cyber financial fraud have reached a peak.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal fell victim to a cyber attack when his X account, formerly Twitter, was hacked. The actor alerted his fans about a cyber scam on his X account when he took to Instagram like Tusshar and informed his followers about the cyber attack.

He wrote: “Not good news, my X account was hacked. Please do not respond to tweets or messages. #accounthacked.”

On the work front, Tusshar will next be seen in the multi-starrer film Welcome To The Jungle.
