Preseason game thread September 30, 2024: New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers

The New Jersey Devils' main roster is overseas. The rest of camp is here to play the final three games. Get a few reps before returning to Utica or other teams. Maybe get management to realize that someone deserves a call. Either way: play well and Don't let yourself get hurt.

The matchup: The New Jersey Devils against our hated rivals

The song of the evening: In keeping with the educational theme, it is appropriate to listen to a group called “Leaders of the New School.” Admittedly, the new school was built in 1991 and is now clearly showing its age. Still “Case of the PTA” from their first album A future without a past… is a fun song and fits this theme. Also enjoy what the young Busta Rhymes looked and sounded like back then.

The rules: The rules remain unchanged as the Devils play through the preseason schedule with what's left in camp. Please keep your language clean (that means don't curse, don't mask it, it's not enough, no I don't care what Tom Fitzgerald said), respect your fellow Devils fans without personal attacks (play nice, otherwise you won't play).
