Orlando Brown comments on the discourse surrounding Lil Wayne

The 36 year old That's so Raven Stern recently appeared on the Cam Capone news YouTube channel for an interview when the topic of Super Bowl LIX 2025 halftime came up.

Kendrick Lamar, 37, will take the stage when it takes place at Caesars Superdome on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The decision sparked a feeling among some hip-hop stars that Wayne, a New Orleans native, should be the artist chosen for the prestigious performance spot.

“I don’t know, I think Jay-Z made the best decision ever,” Brown said at 39:33 in the video linked above, before taking another thirty-second shot of Wayne. “What the hell is that, bro?”

“Yeah, get that shit on stage. That’s hot,” Brown added sarcastically before commenting on Wayne’s “A Milli.” “If you actually go back and listen to the record, you're like, 'What the hell did he say?' He’s high on pills,” he joked.

Brown also said that Drake, 37, should have been the next halftime performer, that he “won over” K.Dot despite the hype and that there are other metrics that measure his star power.

“It's not about the radio, bro, it's about the elevator. The elevator music you do and he was in every elevator, bro. Even the Four Seasons. I'm at the Four Seasons and I'm like, 'Is that Drake on the radio?'”

Conflicting reports have emerged since Kendrick's halftime announcement that Drizzy had been offered to perform at the Super Bowl twice, but he declined both times. Meanwhile, a Bloomberg report claimed NFL insiders refuted the claim, calling it a “blatant lie.”

Needless to say, the ordeal has put Lil Wayne and Jay-Z's tumultuous relationship under scrutiny.
