After losing three straight games in which they scored a total of 25 points, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel wants to make some changes on offense.

Speaking to reporters after Monday's 31-12 loss to the Tennessee Titans, McDaniel explained that “everything is on the table” offensively as the Dolphins try to salvage their season.

“There will be things that will change; hard to say what that is,” he said. “There is definitely a need for it. The performance is nowhere near good enough. You have to open yourself up to everything.”

The Dolphins have already used three different starting quarterbacks this season due to injuries. Tua Tagovailoa, who is on injured reserve after suffering a concussion in Week 2, will miss at least two more games.

Week 3 starter Skylar Thompson was inactive Monday night after suffering a rib injury in the 24-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 22.

Tyler Huntley was released from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad on September 16 following Tagovailoa's injury. He got the start against the Titans and finished the game 14 of 22 for 96 passing yards and 40 yards with a touchdown on eight rushing attempts.

Huntley's fourth-quarter touchdown marked the first time the Dolphins reached the end zone since DeVon Achane scored in the first quarter against the Buffalo Bills on September 2nd. They had fewer yards combined in their last two games (389) than they had in their Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars (400).

Achane, who averaged 7.8 yards per carry as a rookie, has dropped to 3.1 yards per attempt in four games this season. Tyreek Hill hasn't had more than 40 yards in a game since Week 1.

There aren't many options at quarterback at this point in the year. Ryan Tannehill is the top free agent on the market, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on September 18 that he is looking for a situation that would allow him to start the entire season.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there is a “real chance” for Tagovailoa to be back if he is eligible for off-IR activation before Week 8 and is symptom-free from his most recent concussion.

The Dolphins need to do something quickly to avoid a losing season. They are currently in last place in the AFC East with the New England Patriots with a record of 1:3. These two teams will play at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

Miami has a bye in Week 6 before facing the Indianapolis Colts on October 20th.
