These Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants are offering deals for National Taco Day

National Taco Day is October 1, 2024, and there are a handful of restaurants — from local eateries to national chains — that have special offers for guests to liven up Taco Tuesday. A handful of locations are also planning to hold their celebrations (and discounts) next weekend.

Here are seven restaurants where you can grab a deal and a taco, in alphabetical order:

El Chico

This place serves tacos for $2. Order any entree on the menu and add any taco for a special price.

Chido tacos and tequila

Get any taco at Chído for just $4. Stop by and try this restaurant's popular quesabirria tacos alongside a variety of other tacos on the menu.

Chuys

Visit Chuy's on October 1st and 4th for Taco Days dinner specials. Guests can add a crispy or soft ground beef tac to any entrée for $1. And if you dress like a taco, you'll get a free entree of your choice. Chuy's also offers $1 floaters – Queso, Queso Compuesto, Lil' Chuy Gooey and Boom-Boom-Pow – in addition to $5 chips and dips during happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m.

Dairy Queen

Not everyone who goes on fast food trips recognizes Dairy Queen when it comes to tacos, but in Texas it's a menu staple. Get a free Texas T Brand taco when you use the DQ Texas mobile app at participating locations. Pair your taco with a blizzard, float or shake to top it off.

At North Texas-based Fuzzy's, guests can purchase $1.50 OG tacos at participating restaurants all day on Taco Tuesday. The offer applies to both in-person and take-out orders.

Celebrate with endless tacos for $10 at this Irving-based Tex-Mex restaurant chain through Sunday, October 13th. The deal allows you to choose between Chicken Tinga Tacos or Seasoned Ground Beef Tacos when dining on site. For $3 more, you can upgrade to Bottomless Brisket or Southwest Chicken Tacos.
