Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis left Monday's game against the Miami Dolphins in the first quarter with a shoulder injury.

Levis lunged for a first down on Tennessee's second drive of the game and appeared to land hard on his right throwing shoulder. Substitute Mason Rudolph replaced Levis, who went to the blue medical tent and was listed as questionable to return.

Levis completed three of four passes and threw an interception on the Titans' first drive. The second-year quarterback has now thrown six interceptions, tying him with Colts QB Anthony Richardson for the most interceptions this season in the NFL. Levis also lost three fumbles.

Tennessee head coach Brian Callahan told ESPN sideline reporter Laura Rutledge that the team would evaluate Levis in the locker room at halftime.

“If he can play, he’ll go,” Callahan said.

When the Titans' offense took the field in the third quarter, Rudolph stayed with the quarterback. Levis never returned.

The Titans, looking for their first win in Week 4, scored on seven of Rudolph's 11 drives. He completed 9 of 17 passes for 85 yards as Tennessee beat Miami 31-12 to improve to 1-3.

Despite Rudolph's success, Callahan said he will stick with Levis as the starting quarterback as long as he is healthy. According to NFL Media, Levis, who is suspected of having an AC joint injury, will undergo an MRI scan of his shoulder.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
