Today, October 1st, is Taco Tuesday and, thanks to Taco Bell, National Taco Day.

Taco Bell is offering $1 tacos to Rewards members

According to the company, Taco Bell is offering $1 tacos for 10 hours for National Taco Day. Rewards members can redeem a taco through the app every hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ten different tacos are available every hour, including:

  • 10am – Crunchy Taco
  • 11am – Double Stacked Taco
  • 12pm – Chalupa Supreme
  • 1pm – Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos
  • 2 p.m. – Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco
  • 3pm – Cantina Chicken Soft Taco
  • 4 p.m. – Soft Taco Supreme
  • 5pm – Cheesy Gordita Crunch
  • 6 p.m. – Crunchy Taco Supreme
  • 7pm – Soft Taco

Loyalty members get a free taco at Taco John's

At Taco John's, Bigger Bolder Rewards members are entitled to a free Beef-Stuffed Grilled Taco with every purchase on National Taco Day. To sign up for Bigger Bolder Rewards, download the Taco John's app and enter your information for the National Taco Day offer and more.

In Ohio, Taco John's has locations in Athens, Bellville and Circleville.

Del Taco is also offering free taco for National Taco Day

According to food influencer and reviewer @snackolator, Del Taco offers when you purchase its Del Yeah! a free taco. Rewards members.

October 1st also marks the start of Tacoberfest, a month full of offerings at Del Yeah! Rewards app, reports Mercury News.

Del Taco has two locations in Ohio, in Marion and Whitehall.

Taco Tuesday, National Taco Day deals near you

Taco Bell is helping to move National Taco Day to always fall on Taco Tuesday

Taco Bell successfully petitioned the National Day Calendar platform to change the date of National Taco Day, the Enquirer previously reported. National Taco Day took place on October 4th every year. Now fans can enjoy the festivities every first Tuesday in October, the ultimate Taco Tuesday.

The move comes nearly a year after the fast-food chain pushed to give up trademarking the phrase “Taco Tuesday” and allow it to be used freely in all 50 states.
