The Las Vegas Raiders have informed other teams that they would “consider” trading wide receiver Davante Adams for a package that would include a second-round pick and additional compensation, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The development comes after Adams said earlier Tuesday that he had not spoken to Antonio Pierce because a social media account associated with the Las Vegas Raiders coach had liked a post wondering if the star -Wide receiver played his last loss against the team.

Adams, appearing on “The Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams” on Tuesday, was asked about the verified account associated with Pierce liking the Sports Illustrated Instagram post. The Pierce account's like has since been removed from the SI post.

“I haven't heard from him. I haven’t spoken to him,” Davante Adams said when asked if he had heard from Pierce. “…Social media is a beast, so a lot of people out there saw it and wondered what was going on and reached out.”

Davante Adams told Kay Adams that many people think his last loss came with the Raiders, saying, “All I can control is this conversation we're having here, and when we're done with it, can “I control everything.” is the next thing I plan to do.

Adams missed the Raiders' Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury he suffered in practice on Thursday. The injury will likely keep him sidelined week-to-week, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter over the weekend.

Adams said Tuesday that he's “trying to get healthy and doing everything I can to stay on top of it because the worst thing you can do, especially in a situation like a hammy, is try to close it down.” force yourself to get out there and stick it out for the long haul.” Harm from trying to be greedy and not understanding the process. It's not fun at all not being out there, but I think my teammates will appreciate it more in the long run.
