Viking territory works in partnership with PurplePTSDwho also do their best to present excellent content for the Minnesota Vikings. That's why we're promoting their offer in The View from VT, a weekly feature. Check out five of her articles from the last week.

The View from VT: October 5, 2024

1) Adam Thielen gets bad news at the worst possible time: One of the reasons Thielen took a step back in Minnesota was because he was having trouble staying healthy as he got older. The receiver did a lot of good things for the Panthers last season, but an injury sidelined him as he did a great job in Carolina. Hopefully it will get back to 100% soon.

2) The Vikings were assigned the J word: Not long ago, PurplePTSD suggested that the defense was becoming a juggernaut because of Stephon Gilmore's underrated contributions. More recently, another publication has pointed out how the Minnesota Vikings are turning into a juggernaut.

3) A reinforcement on the way back for the Vikings: The crazy thing is that Minnesota won despite missing some key players. That's one of the main reasons why it makes sense to believe in the 2024 Vikings. The return of Ivan Pace Jr. would be a nice boost for the defense, especially when it comes to attacking the QB.

4) Former Viking signs with Ravens: Baltimore is a great organization, so it's a good opportunity to get a shot with the AFC contender. The linebacker will likely need to prove he can be a monster on special teams before he gets a chance on the active roster. Otherwise, he would have to wait until an injury occurs.

5) Vikings HC updates TJ Hockenson's return: Overall, some great news for Mr. Hockenson. The tight end will be back soon. He won't play against the Jets on Sunday morning, but he will be involved in the game not long after the bye.
