After the New York Giants' 29:20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, the stock rises and falls again

Daniel Jones has been one of the NFL's most efficient quarterbacks since Week 2, and Sunday's performance was his personal best in two years. He completed 23 of 34 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns and added another 38 yards on the ground. But those stats don't really reflect the level to which he has elevated his play in the absence of rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Devin Singletary. DJ was in complete control and gave the offense everything he could to secure the win. One of the constant complaints is that Jones isn't improving the level of play around him. Against the Seahawks, he did just that.

It's starting to feel like we're heaping on running back Eric Gray, but his fumbling issues can't be ignored. Additionally, he only managed four yards on four carries and appeared to lose second place to freshman Tyrone Tracy Jr. in the process. While he completed three passes for a productive 50 yards, Gray has become a liability.

It had been a tough time for head coach Brian Daboll, and whether it was warranted or not, things were starting to heat up in his seat. After Sunday's win, things have cooled down completely for the time being and he has once again shown the football world that he is a more than capable coach. The unwarranted praise for his players after the game is also a testament to his ability to hold a locker room together despite some treacherous times.

Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson brought in six of his nine scores for 36 yards and a touchdown, but there were some drop problems here too. The inconsistency is extremely frustrating as Robinson clearly has an important and defined role, but at some point he will lose the trust of his head coach and quarterback. That's especially true if his drops continue to come on third down, which was the case on Sunday.

As the pressure mounted after two poor performances against Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb — something that led to a position coach publicly criticizing him — cornerback Deonte Banks reacted strongly on Sunday. He completely shut down the physical DK Metcalf in what was arguably his biggest challenge yet. It was an impressive boost for Banks and something that should boost his confidence going forward.

The Giants played so well on Sunday that we ran out of inventory reduction options. By now, so many players were performing at the top of their game – Dexter Lawrence, Isaiah Simmons and the entire offensive line, to name a few – that it was impossible to settle on a single person for that final spot. Instead, we're going with the Giants organization as a whole. Their stock rose on Sunday because this was the team's best win since their playoff victory over the Minnesota Vikings in 2022. Beating the Seahawks on the road as 7-point underdogs… Slice it up however you like, that's impressive and was a huge win for a franchise that has had very few of them in the last decade-plus.
