Agatha and Rio's story will be explored, says showrunner

(Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers for Agatha all the time Season 1, Episode 4, “I Can't Reach You/Let My Song Teach You.”)

The path of the witches continues to lead down a treacherous path for Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) and her motley coven of witches Agatha all the time continues to take place on Disney+.

As the team stood in front of a new house on the street, they were swallowed up by the '70s rocker theme, making for a music-centric experience that delved deeper into Agatha's connections with Rio (Aubrey Plaza), who showed up to meet Sharon (Debra Jo Rupp). after the sad demise of the previous part. Towards the end of the episode, once they reach the final level on Witch Road, the coven swaps stories about battle scars, and when Rio brings up the need to hurt a witch she cares about, she's clearly playing on Agatha to. As the two women leave the circle, they get closer and almost kiss.

Is there more to this duo than meets the eye? Showrunner and series creator Jac Schaeffer says yes.

According to Schaeffer, “Agatha and Rio have a deeper history, and we learn more about it as the series progresses.” Additionally, she says, “Their chemistry is so exciting. And I personally thought, I can’t get enough of these two on screen.”

Luckily, there's more to come, as Schaeffer adds, “Audiences can expect more of that kind of unpredictability: 'Do they love each other?' 'Do they hate each other or is it both?'”
