Apple introduces Mental Health Day Award for Apple Watch users

As a reminder, Apple has introduced a limited award for Apple Watch users World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2024. The company's goal is to promote emotional awareness and mental well-being through this initiative.

Apple Watch now tracks time spent in daylight using its ambient light sensor, as studies show that spending 15 to 30 minutes outdoors can reduce stress.
The Journal app allows users to reflect on daily experiences and practice gratitude through journals, photos, videos and audio recordings. Now it is Focus function helps minimize distractions by creating custom settings for different tasks, improving concentration during important activities.
Apple also emphasizes that its devices can help users monitor levels of depression and anxiety, with the results being shared with healthcare providers for proper assessment.
