Oasis is really committed to this whole reunion thing. After causing a stir in ticket sales in Europe by announcing their reunion concerts in 2025, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are bringing their comeback shows to North America. “America. “Oasis is coming,” the band announced. “You have one last chance to prove that you have loved us all along.”

Sixteen years have passed since Oasis last performed in North America. The band will return to Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 24th. The newly announced show slate also includes performances in Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City. Oasis is joined in North America by Cage the Elephant.

Pre-sale registration is open until Tuesday at 8 a.m. EST via the official Oasis website. General presales begin Friday at 12 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

Oasis has elected to have North American tour sales not include the dynamic pricing model enabled for the European leg. The Ticketmaster feature directly led to a chaotic pre-sale, with prices jacked up due to high demand and fans fighting bots for tickets. “We have made this decision for the North American tour to hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the UK and Ireland have recently experienced,” the band said in a statement on social media.

“It is widely recognized that dynamic pricing continues to be a useful tool to combat ticket advertising and keep prices below market and therefore more affordable for a significant proportion of fans,” the statement continued. “But when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over by the time tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot meet that demand, it loses effectiveness and can result in an unacceptable experience for fans lead.” .”

Announcing the reunion tour, Oasis said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The long wait is over. Come and see. It won’t be televised.”

One of the defining bands of the Britpop era, Oasis was one of the biggest bands in the world for almost two decades. They released seven albums, including classics like Definitely maybe And (What's the story) Morning Glory?between 1991 and 2009. Their last appearances together were 15 years ago.
