Even Large Freedia admitted that her jump had lost some of its spring as Lil Wayne was snubbed and denied a halftime berth in the New Orleans Super Bowl in his hometown… and it turns out the whole city is under pressure!!!

We interviewed Big Freedia onThe TMZ Podcast' and the word on the 504 Streets is that everyone in New Orleans is sad for Wayne – especially since he tried to make things happen months ago… but ended up disappointed Kendrick Lamar got the nod.

Big Freedia told the hosts Charlie Neff And Wyld Young There's still hope…Kendrick could easily be on stage with Wayne in February and all would be right in the world…and the wards.
