Billie Eilish And Finneas O'Connell's mother explains why her children aren't really “Nepo babies”.

In a new interview Maggie Baird responded to claims that her children were “Nepo babies” because she and her husband Patrick O'Connell are actors and musicians.

Read on to find out more…When talking to Shine, Maggie responded to the “Nepo Baby” claims following a clip in which she appeared Friends started circulating on social media.

“That came out and it was like, 'Oh, Billie's a Nepo baby'” Maggie said. “And I'm like, 'Did you know I had this episode of it?' Friends because I was about to lose my health insurance?'”

Maggie continued that she and her husband – who appeared in Iron Man And The West Wing – are “working class actors”.

“We were living on a shoestring, which meant we had a lot of time with our kids, which was great,” she added.

Maggie Then she said that she and Patrick I've never experienced the same level of notoriety as Billie22, and Finneas27, have found and added that there are many people in the entertainment industry who are also not at this level.

“People don’t really understand that there’s a whole industry of people who are creative, working and struggling, living perfectly happy lives, feeling creative and feeling fulfilled.” Maggie explained. “But it’s a completely different life than on this side of the door, where you’re suddenly playing in a different arena.”

Maggie also said she was grateful her family remained close.

“You’re on stage in front of 100,000 people, and it lasts an hour and a half, and the rest of the time you’re sitting at the dinner table and your brother is giving you nonsense.” Maggie divided. “The family part is the part that makes sure everything stays healthy.”

She also said she hopes people remember it Billie And Finneas are “human”.

“You get a bad review in a local paper – you know what I mean? – that’s a shame.” Maggie said. “But there aren’t a million people commenting on you. And it’s a kind of experimental generation that we’re educating.”

In another recent interview, Billie spoke openly about maintaining a close relationship with her fans.
