One of the biggest plays of the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 4 loss to the Indianapolis Colts came in the third quarter when quarterback Justin Fields lost a fumble that ended Pittsburgh's chances of a field goal.

On third-and-10 at the Colts' 33-yard line, Fields tried to escape a sack by running backwards, which took him to midfield. Fields then lost control of the football and handed it to the Colts, ending Pittsburgh's chances of a field goal. This proved to be very costly as the Steelers ended up losing by three points.

Although Fields took full responsibility for this mistake, there was at least one Steelers fan on social media who felt that right tackle Broderick Jones should have done more to prevent it, even going so far as to say calling the 2023 first-round pick lazy.

A little over an hour after the game ended, Jones found out about it and responded to his critic by saying, “Bro, do you even know football?”

Jones was damned if he did, damned if he didn't on this play. He had to block two players and chose the inside player. Had Jones chosen to play outside, pressure would still have been put on Fields.

But Jones didn't just respond to that one tweet. He still had several responses to those who criticized him during the game.

Jones shouldn't take a second to respond to critics on social media. He needs to have thicker skin and just let it go. Chasing people on X won't help him one bit.

After the loss, Jones and the Steelers will look to bounce back in Week 5 when they host the Dallas Cowboys at Acrisure Stadium next Sunday.
