DENVER – Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew attempted to throw his second touchdown pass of the day to tight end Brock Bowers on Sunday for Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II for a small piece of history.

On a first-and-goal from the Broncos' 5-yard line, Minshew rolled left and knocked Bowers to the ground. Surtain, who was shadowing Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, grabbed the missed throw and sprinted up the Broncos sideline for a 100-yard touchdown return.

It is the second-longest pick-six interception in team history – Aqib Talib had a 103-yard touchdown return in 2017. It was the longest interception return of Surtain's career, his first interception of the season and the eighth of his career.

During the return game, officials initially threw a flag near the Broncos' bench because linebacker Jonah Elliss had blocked Minshew, but the flag was picked up.

Surtain's return tied the game at 10-10.
