Celine Dion is back – or maybe just for the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night?

The legendary French-Canadian singer appeared in the opening promo of Sunday Night Football, with Dion combining the love she sang about in her 1996 hit single “It's All Coming Back to Me Now” with, well, football.

“I think what I like most about this game is the ability to connect who we are and who we were,” said Dion, wearing a vintage 1996 Super Bowl sweatshirt The Steelers and Cowboys could also be seen. “To prove that our strongest memories, our most enduring loves, can stay with us forever. You know what I'm talking about, right? Sometimes, some nights, it all just comes back.”

The promo then shows excerpts from the two teams' previous encounters.

“Their love affair, well, maybe not the love I usually sing about it. But still work with me here,” Dion said. “I'm like, 'When you touch me like that, when you hold me like that.' It’s kind of fitting, isn’t it?”

The Grammy-winning singer continued: “But really, what a beautiful passion it brought out. What a painful heartbreak it revealed. So, so long ago. Like so many old flames, it always feels right when they're back together, doesn't it?” Do you think? Like tonight, which conjures up the kind of magic they once produced on Sunday nights.

Then, like the various coaches shown drenched in Gatorade, Dion himself is doused with the orange sports drink.

Dion made her official musical comeback amid her battle with stiff person syndrome at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics in July. The avid sports fan also appeared at a Montreal Canadiens hockey game last November. Dion first revealed the diagnosis in 2022 as the reason she had to cancel her upcoming world tour dates and her Las Vegas stay.

During Dion's return to the spotlight, she released the harrowing documentary I Am: Celine Dion, in which she relives a violent SPS episode on screen.
