Iran has launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel Dolphins consider changes after third straight loss

As time goes on, it is becoming more and more likely that the Cleveland Browns will trade Amari Cooper at some point this season.

The Browns fell to 1-3 with their brutal loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, and Cooper had just four catches for 35 yards in the loss.

Cooper is in the final year of his contract and Cleveland declined an extension in the offseason. That means the 30-year-old will almost certainly play his football elsewhere in 2025, and with the Browns already appearing to be out of Super Bowl contention, it could be to their advantage to keep him by the March 5 deadline .November exchange to regain some value for him.

That's why Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report suggested that the Denver Broncos should look to make a play for Cooper in the next few weeks.

The Broncos seem like an odd fit for Cooper given their status as a rebuilding team, but Ballentine sums it up.

“Cooper is on an expiring contract with a small base salary,” he wrote. “He would be a cost-effective midseason addition that could help the Broncos offense make real progress for the remainder of the season.”

It would certainly be nice if Denver added another pass catcher for rookie quarterback Bo Nix, but one has to wonder how much draft capital the Broncos would be willing to give up for a player who is likely to leave in March.

Cooper has caught 16 passes for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns so far in 2024.
