Cody Johnson recently released “I’m Gonna Love You,” a duet with Carrie Underwoodalong with an accompanying music video.

The song is the first single from the deluxe edition of leatherwhich is due out on November 1st. The deluxe edition, produced by Trent Willmonwill contain 13 new songs in addition to the 12 tracks from the original record.

Chris Stevens, Kelly Archer And Travis Denning Co-author of “I’m Gonna Love You.” The video, directed by: Dustin Haneywas filmed in Wells, Nevada and Nashville, Tennessee and features breathtaking scenery.

“Stars will light up the midnight sky / The sun will burn on the Fourth of July / The tides will turn with the pull of the moon / And I will love you,” Johnson begins the song, after which Underwood joins in as they sing, “Birds fly south, When winter comes / It will snow and rivers will flow / In April it will rain and the flowers will bloom / And I will love you.”

Johnson and Underwood then sing the chorus: “So good it almost hurts / Steady and true like a Bible verse / My heart jumps just thinking about you / The warmth in bed, oh, baby, we can't lose.” “

Johnson shared a joint post with Underwood on Instagramcelebrates the release of the duet.

“We are so blessed to share the music video with all of you. These images bring the beauty of the song to life,” they wrote.
