Cordarrelle Patterson recruits his team.

Amid the drama between Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce and star wide receiver Davante Adams, the Pittsburgh Steelers running back commented on a video in which Adams discussed his position with the team.

“Sounds like he wants to be a @steelers,” Patterson wrote on X.

Patterson suggests the idea of a trade for Adams, while Pierce likes a post that says Adams may have “already played his last snap” in Las Vegas.

Adams' farewell to the Raiders has become more realistic in the last few hours. Per Las Vegas Review Journals Vincent BonsignoreLas Vegas “is becoming more open to the idea of commerce,” Adams. Bonsignore noted that the team has begun contacting teams to gauge interest in a potential trade.

There is an excerpt from the video that Patterson commented on Up and Adam's showAdams said he didn't speak with Pierce because he liked the post and “there was no communication with anyone on the team.”

On Tuesday afternoon, Adams requested a trade from Las Vegas, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

While it's still unclear whether the Raiders will decide to part ways with Adams, Pittsburgh could be a potential suitor.

The Steelers were in line for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk this offseason, but were unable to bring him to Pittsburgh as he ended up staying with his current team. Ultimately, the Steelers didn't make any major additions to the wide receiver room before the start of the season.

Now, four games into the year, it's obvious that Pittsburgh would benefit from an experienced wideout like Adams. While the Steelers are 3-1, their offense has been anything but impressive with just six touchdowns so far. That could certainly change with the addition of a six-time Pro Bowler who leads the league with two touchdowns.

Adams, coming off his fourth straight season with 1,000 or more receiving yards, has just 209 receiving yards and one touchdown despite the Raiders' sluggish 2-2 start. He missed Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury and is currently being considered week-to-week.
