The trade market has never been hotter for the 2024 NFL season. Davante Adams has been the top name in recent days as teams look to acquire the current Raider for a compensation package that fits the Las Vegas team's needs.

It was reported that the Las Vegas Raiders would seek a second-round pick as well as “additional compensation.” Could the Steelers be one of the few teams that can meet these needs, and does this mean Russell Wilson will be sent to Vegas?

Justin Fields should secure the starting quarterback position in the future. While the Steelers appreciate the depth Wilson provides, he is more valuable as a trade compensation than sitting behind Fields for the remainder of the season.

Wilson, along with a conditional third-round pick, should be more than enough to land the 31-year-old Adams. The Raiders also have quarterback issues of their own that Wilson could alleviate.

Pittsburgh was already down this road with the Brandon Aiyuk drama earlier this season. If the Steelers went all-in on Aiyuk, why not send your backup quarterback for possibly the best wide receiver of the last decade, Davante Adams?
