“Desperate” Harry is serious about improving his image – and Meghan is not part of the project: “He wants space”

Sources claim that Prince Harry is taking his “fall from grace” pretty hard as he struggles with fading A-list friendships and tries to repair his public image – in recent days he has frequently appeared in public without wife Meghan Markle on.

The Daily Mail reports that the Duke of Sussex was absent from his rumored pal George Clooney's humanitarian awards ceremony in New York City, despite being in the Big Apple for a high-profile appearance on “The Tonight Show” Starring Jimmy Fallon on the same day.

Last year, Johnny Hornby, once a loyal ally of the prince, resigned from Harry's charity to work with a harsh, high-profile critic of Meghan, TV personality Jeremy Clarkson.

Combined with his many appearances and travels, such as trips to London and Lesotho without Meghan in tow, sources are speculating as to why Harry is choosing to attend the bachelorette party.

While a source in California posited that “Solo Harry” was the Duke's idea, and Daily Mail said he “wanted it that way” and “wants space,” insiders across the pond offered further insight.

A London source told the tabloid that Harry may be serious about improving his public image and that he needs to do this alone.

“This definitely feels like he is improving his game to cement his position as a serious player on the international stage,” the anonymous source claimed.

“He always wanted to be taken seriously and people I know say his fall from grace really affected him.”

However, the same source said she was surprised Meghan did not accompany Harry to Lesotho despite being conspicuously absent from Harry's 40th birthday party last month.

However, the Daily Mail reported that it was allegedly Meghan who planned Harry's birthday, which included a hiking trip with his friends.

“There may be a good reason why she can't leave the children behind, but she's never been to Lesotho and that surprises me – it's like a second home (for Harry),” they said, adding that the “royal “Family there, so to speak, is his second family.”
